HOW DO I BUY SOMETHING?
Click the “Info” button for payment instructions: simply remit payment with the Item # via your preferred payment method – there is no “Add to Cart” system on this site. We accept Venmo, PayPal and Credit/Debit Cards. To purchase via PayPal or with a Credit/Debit Card simply click those buttons and include the Item # with your payment. You do not need to inquire if the item is still available – if it is listed on this site it is available. In rare cases, an item may have previously sold before we were able to remove it, and in that case you would be given an immediate refund.
HOW DO I BUY MORE THAN ONE ITEM?
Simply total up the prices and remit payment via your preferred method, and include all Item #s, either in an email or in the notes section with your payment. In other words, you do not need to make a separate payment for each item.
DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE SHIPPING?
Yes, the price includes media mail domestic shipping (USA states and territories). Curbside or in-store pickup is also available (currently Saturdays 11am-5pm, and sometimes by appointment). Follow us on Instagram for updates on additional days that we might be open for pickup. Inquire for international shipping.
How quickly do you ship and process orders / when will I receive my item?
Items usually ship within 48-72 hours of sale. Once shipped, media mail can takes 4-10 business days to arrive, depending how far you are from Portland, Oregon. Sometimes longer due to the pandemic, but sometimes faster too. Bless the USPS.
Can you hold some books for me?
Sorry, no holds without payment.
I can't read the price and/or the title?
Try pinch and zoom, or hover over the image with your mouse, and on many mobile phones you can tap and hold the image and it will expand and the title and price will appear. Or click the “Info” button and the title and price will appear in the email subject line.
What do the abbreviations mean on the price tags?
PB = paperback, HC = hardcover, OP = out of print, VG = very good (condition), a “+” or “-” after VG = slightly better or less so, B/W or B+W = black and white images, DJ = dust jacket, w/ = with, Name in pen = someone has written their name in pen inside the book.
What size is the book I am looking at?
To give you an idea of the scale, all of the price tags in the photos are the same size at 5.5 inches x 8.5 inches, so you can use that to gauge the approx. size of a book. If a book is especially large or small, I sometimes will note the size on the price tag.
Can I establish credit or an account with the JPEG Bookstore?
Yes. Simply remit a payment in an amount of $100 or more via Venmo or by clicking the “PayPal” or “Card” buttons (include a note), and then you can order books without having to pay with each order. We will keep track of your account and notify you of your credit balance after each purchase. You can add more funds to your account at any time. You can also purchase an eGift Card here, that can be used at Monograph Bookwerks or for the JPEG Bookstore.
